148 Days To Go!

We met right at the heat of the COVID lockdown in 2020 and started dating not long after, getting to know each other over FaceTime and sharing our lives virtually.

The following fall, Elizabeth moved off to Mississippi State to start her Meteorology degree, and while the distance was difficult, we made it work. Jay finished high school in December 2020 and decided to join Elizabeth at Mississippi State, eventually deciding to study Software Engineering.

Through a long and strenuous four years, they graduated in May 2024, and moved back home to start looking for jobs, with a promise to walk side-by-side through the unpredictable job market.

Fast forward to April 2026, and Elizabeth landed her first position as a Hydrologist at the National Water Center in Tuscaloosa, AL, with Jay having been at a steady position working for Elizabeth's dad for going on 2 years.

While on vacation in Tampa, FL for a BTS concert, Jay proposed to Elizabeth on a beautiful bridge bordering the Riverwalk. Elizabeth said yes, and since then they have been planning their dream wedding with a date set for January 9, 2027.

They look forward to seeing you there, and want to thank every person that has made a meaningful impact on their individual lives, as well as their relationship.
